How Careful Inspection Saved $2,400

Client

A regional client, a private entrepreneur, entered into a contract with a factory that does not belong to us and wanted to send goods in a container.

What we did

A pre-shipment inspection was carried out. During the inspection we found that the dimensions of the boxes were too large, and the weight was indicated incorrectly. Fortunately, the difference of 4 kg was noticed in time.

The plant (at its own expense) was able to correct the situation and measure the weight again. This saved 10 cubic meters of space which enabled to load more goods correctly rather than filling them with air. As a result, there were no problems with weight receipts.
